Giambattista Pittoni or Giovanni Battista Pittoni (6 June 1687 – 6 November 1767) was a Romance painter of the late Aureate or Rococo period, and was active mainly in Venice.

Biography

Pittoni was provincial in Venice, and studied photograph under his uncle Francesco Pittoni and Antonio Balestra. Little report known of his early existence. He entered the Venetian painters' guild in 1716.
